Last month was a
very busy month while celebrating National / International Poetry Month. I had
my hands full with the magazine, the poetry shows and Inner Child Press while
trying to include a personal life. To top it off there was a death in my
family. I am not saddened by it, we knew it was coming but still . . . there is
the shock of it. It is just now hitting me that a Beloved Family member is not
walking the planet with us. Lucky man and I do mean that! No, he is an energy
burning bright and I am sure having the time of his life.
It seems lately
that my thoughts are consumed with this and the power that a single human being
has on another is astounding. Though I personally have had an NDE this
particular transformation has caused me to look at my life and begin to make
changes where I need to. Sometimes we get so caught up in our daily lives that
we forget to take a moment out of our busy day to call someone to say I love
you or to take them to lunch.
Many times we go
about our work day like a robot and not appreciating the things that it can
bring. Or we work at something that is so unsatisfying, either to make ends
meet, be a part of a particular crowd and some of these things may be pointless
in the long run. They are for me. A change is gonna come for this lady
Please take the
time not only for your Family but for yourself as well. Feed yourself
spiritually, in your own way. Take a walk in the rain and give thanks to the
Universe for all of it's Glory and simply smile.
Please enjoy our
offerings in this issue as we celebrate women. I send love, peace and
prosperity from me to you.
